So how can you prepare yourself for this test? The first thing you need to do is find out exactly what is required from you. There is an exam that you will have to pass, and then there is a group writing section, which is really quite difficult. It is suggested that you study a lot of reading materials, so you have learned everything that you can about the country, its people, history and so on.
Once you have studied, the next step will be to practice the questions that you just learnt. The best way to go about this is to start with one question, and try to get as much information as you can about it. Answer it using as much information as you can, and give your best answer. Try not to get distracted at any point and answer it quickly. Try to write about as much as you can, so you know why the question is being asked, and how you can answer it correctly.
Another good idea would be to write down a short paragraph about each question type, and then write down the best answer that you could think of. This way, you will remember it, and you will have already practiced your skills for it. This helps you get a feel for real questions, without requiring you to actually type out an answer.
Once you have done this, you need to study one more question type. Go through the questions that you learnt in detail, and try to remember as much as possible about the question type. Write down the best answers if you can, even if they do not sound particularly conclusive. Then go through them again, and try to answer as many of them as possible in as much detail as possible. Write down the best answers as you can, and use your memory as much as possible. If you cannot type at all, then read it out loud, and practise as much as you can.
The last step of the process is to study some passages from books about history. You need to know what you are doing here, so do not just glance through the passage without looking up at a dictionary. Read each passage two or three times to make sure you know what you are reading. If there are unclear words or sentences, look them up in a good English grammar book. Use your memory as much as you can, and get your homework completed as quickly as you can. This will help you do well on the quiz.
The last part of preparing for a Dbi Colombia quiz is to study your answers. Try to answer the questions as completely as possible, answering them in the correct order, using as much detail as you can. Even if you think you miss a point or you do not quite understand a word, mark it off so that you do not forget it. Then use your memory to fill in any gaps you may notice.
In a short time you will start getting excellent practice at answering questions on the Dbi Colombia board. As long as you do this consistently, you will improve your knowledge of the language very quickly. And soon enough you will be ready to take your first real test, when you take my quiz for me. It should not take too long at all and you will learn many things about language understanding as you go along.
