These questions may be asking you to consider the sources of your funding, but they’re also asking you to consider the people you come into contact with during the course of your daily life. How did you hear about the philanthropic organization? What is its mission? Who are its current beneficiaries? Who else are you currently working with? What other organizations do you believe could be a good fit for funding?

You don’t have to spend hours sifting through the thousands of pages of information available on the net or at your local library.
